Using the Permalok T-5 Joint, an install crew can make a watertight connection in 6 minutes. With each connection adding only minutes to the install time, a crew may install up to 10 pieces of 20鈥� casing pipe in an eight-hour shift.
End Results: 200 linear feet per day.
Welded Steel Casing
A skilled field welder takes an average 90 minutes to fit and butt weld one joint on 24鈥� x .500鈥� casing. The same size crew will only be able to install three to four 20鈥� long pipe in an eight-hour shift.
